Customer Supply Analyst

Responsibilities: 

• Daily reviews of customer orders against available inventory and determine strategy for aligning demand & Supply with Consumption trends

• Daily communication with planning team and warehouse facilities to determine inventory position against customer demand

• Execute end-to-end supplier and customer inventory analysis using multiple data sources

• Build analytical processes and views to support customer supply chain decisions

• Function as liaison between Sales, Demand Planning and Supply teams to align functions around key decisions

• Work with cross functional business partners on achieving key metrics such as Order Fill, Case Fill, On Time Deliver, Must Arrive by Date

• Utilize customer and supplier inventory data sources to build end-to-end supply and demand analytics to include in-stock targets, days on hand inventory, inventory carrying costs, safety stock, etc.

• Track inventory and demand systemically to ensure end-to-end metrics work together for success.

• Forecast potential for failed metrics in the end-to-end demand-supply system.

• Create reports using Excel and internal business intelligence tools to provide insights into customer behavior patterns and opportunities• Develop and execute reporting and analysis of key service and supply chain performance metrics.

Supports management in planning and executing strategic initiatives within Supply Chain in support of elevating customer satisfaction, sales.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree required with minimum of 4 years of related work experience in Supply Chain

Experience with Amazon’s systems and processes – 3P required, 1P preferred

• Supply Chain and customer route to market experience required

• Previous experience managing customer inventory and key service metrics

• Analytical skills required – BI reporting (PowerBI, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills

• Amazon portal experience (seller central, vendor central)

• ERP system experience

• Ability for analytical and problem-solving skills, collaboration and generating alignment

• Strong attention to detail, while understanding the strategic direction set

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to provide direction on adherence to policies, programs and procedures

• Strong teamwork skills & experience working with cross-functional business units

• Good business perspective skills with the ability to look at problems or projects through the eyes of the customers, competitors, and coworkers
